Fell Pony

Although Fells have become popular show and pleasure riding ponies in England, it has always been their work ethic that the hill breeders of Cumbria have admired and taken pains to preserve. You've spent a lot of time working with your horse to build your communication skills and relationship as well as his performance. Beginning this month, I'm switching gears for a bit to focus on performance. It's important to remember that performance, as well as communication and relationship, includes two individuals: you and your horse. As a rider, you invest a lot of time mentally to learn new riding and training techniques by reading, watching videos, taking lessons or attending clinics. However, it's also important to work on your physical wellness.
