3-Day Clinic at Riversong Ranch
You and your horse are invited to experience fun, learning and laughter at the “Horsemanship for Women” courses offered throughout Colorado. There are still rider positions available, but don’t delay - they’ll go fast! This approach applies to all breeds, interests, ages and experience levels and men are always welcome to participate! Take advantage of this opportunity to spend a long weekend or entire week committed just to you and your horse! If you’re unfamiliar with my approach, “Horsemanship for Women” is REAL horsemanship, just presented from a woman’s point of view! This approach provides a unique combination of explanations, tools and skilled techniques that horses understand, respect and respond to with the kind of willingness that comes of true understanding of what’s being asked of them. Men and women have different learning styles, so if you’ve tried other approaches, had some great success or maybe not as much as you’d expected, it may not be the information, but how that information was presented to you! You and your horse will develop a depth of understanding for one another creating greater fun and safety, resolve problems and really enjoy your time together, even long after the clinic os over. Consider this a retreat just for you and your horse!

Mark Russell “Natural Dressage”
Ocate, NM . One-on-one lessons with Mark Russell, author of Lessons in Lightness, the Art of Educating the Horse. Mark has blended principles of Artistic Dressage and Natural Horsemanship to develop the horse and the rider’s relationship to the horse. Artistic dressage uses suppling and gymnasticizing exercises to balance the horse in lightness with reliance on relaxation of the whole horse. Natural Horsemanship helps the rider to develop self-awareness in the presence of the horses, which is key to developing a relationships based on responsiveness rather than reaction; connection and mutuality rather than force and dominance. Join us at beautiful Twin Willows Ranch in Ocate, NM to see how Mark uses the principles from both Artistic Dressage and Natural Horsemanship to help riders find the lightness and artistry they desire. For information on Mark’s program, www.naturaldressage.com. For clinic information contact Lorraine or Eric Werner at lorraine@twinwillowsranch.com.
